tucked into appropriated rebozosobligating silence toward protectionof our brown brothers
Loyalist essentialistfor the nonviolent causeRomanticized movementIlluminating whitewashed liberationExamining socializations tooidentify complicitnesseasy institutions blamed
Never once stopping to seethat buildings without peopleare empty boxes filled with thingssegun misunderstandings of my culturavictimize machista brothersfor they know not what they dosisters keepersof the firesahumadorasoffering blessingsshielding, sweeping, clearing, absorbingthat the education of our peoplewe must shoulderbecause we arethe givers of lifewith sacred wombsfor the offeringnurturing breastsfor the taking
